How cost‑share works (plain English)
NRCS and local programs may reimburse a portion of eligible work (for example, new fence or cedar removal) after your project is approved and completed to spec. Reimbursement rates and eligibility vary by county and program year.

What you need from a contractor
- Build to the correct practice standard (e.g., Fence (382), Brush Management (314), water pipelines/tanks as specified).
- Provide clear before/after photos and maps of installed lines or acres treated.
- Give a legible quote and invoice that align with the approved plan.
Note: Funding amounts, approvals, and final decisions are made by your NRCS/NRD/local program office. We’ll coordinate with them and follow their guidance.

Barbed or woven wire with correct post spacing, corners, braces, and gates. Permanent electric high‑tensile available.
Brush Management (314)
Cedar/brush removal by mulching or mechanical methods, following density/acreage guidance.

Simple pipelines & tanks to support grazing systems when included in your plan.
Grazing Systems
Rotational paddock layouts and line maps for fence and water distribution.
Reseeding
Native mixes and drill seeding where required for practice completion.
Documentation
Before/after photos, GPS line maps, invoices by unit (ft/acre), and materials list.
